Our resort is in the heart of the most beautiful outdoor areas in Minnesota. The refuge also offers our guests excellent duck hunting in the Fall.
Regardless of the season, you will find amazing things to visit and view in our area. Many of our guests love to visit the source of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park as it is one of the most beautiful state run parks in Minnesota. You can rent a bike or bring your own and take a ride on the Heartland Trail or if you like tubing, you can go tubing down the Ottertail River.
